I never review places off one visit, so after my second visit, this restaurant is one of the best places I have ever been. I had the chicken katsu and it's so light, crispy, perfectly cooked, and had no grease at all. The curry sauce was delicious,The salad came with a great dressing. The Miso soup was served piping hot and full of tofu. Partner had some honey wings which were perfectly cooked, very crispy but not too much batter and not greasy at all. Service is exceptional. The food is out quickly. Menu is small but they do it so so well. It's the best two meals I've eaten in years, we eat out 5-6 days a week and there's not really anything that compares. Chairs are all very comfortable. You do order at the counter and then they serve you after, but overall it is a 10/10 for me.

Highly recommend this place if you're looking for affordable authentic Japanese food. Everything tastes delicious. We ordered tempura udon and cheese katsu and they are tasty and freshly made. Friendly staff we even got complimentary fried chicken. Self service dining option. Ideal place to get quick meals and not break the bank. Place is very clean and quiet.

It was the perfect spot for an amazing lunch date with my husband in Troy. The aesthetics are immaculate! The look and vibe are so nice and cozy (even the bathroom is immaculate and fancy).The food is a certified 10/10 and a total masterpiece. The cheese katsu was fantastic and incredibly crunchy, and the bulgogi and yakitori were a huge hit. I was shocked because the textures and flavors are next level. They tasted exactly like the authentic meals I’ve had in South Korea and Japan. Major plus for anyone looking for allergy-friendly or peanut-free restaurants: my husband has a peanut allergy, and we were thrilled to find out their fried chicken is completely peanut-free ! Fried chicken was SO delicious. We were incredibly happy that we could have Korean style fried chicken. We are already planning our next trip back to try the ramen for our dinner date because it looks amazing!

My lady and I had the most wonderful dinner experience here! Ever since we seen ‘Salt+Soju’ being built, we were always curious. Seeing the slight rebranding (Salt+Lite) and menu change, we propelled ourselves to this location! You will not go wrong with this cozy Korean experience. Our waiter was the most polite and served us with A-tier yummy goodness. Chicken Katsu is usually my go-to at Korean restaurants but it is safe to say that this might be the best chicken katsu I’ve had yet. The chicken was extremely juicy , the dressing on the cabbage was delightful. I challenge you to try this place out! Give your tastebuds a chance to live life through chowing down on their entire menu. At the time of writing this review there is construction going on but they are open! Everything we got: Yakitori (chicken skewers - it’s rare to find yakitori in this area) Katsu Shrimp Curry Chicken Katsu Fried garlic/chili edamame (not super spicy for those wondering. Under new management with a fresh yummy menu! Their ramen broth is rich and flavorful. My personal favorite was the spicy miso ramen but the rest of the family loved the other two as well. Love supporting small family businesses with yummy food 😍
